HELLOO MY NAME IS ISSA aka the number one jongwoo enjoyer. I love him SO much and i relate to him in so many ways, i see him a lot wherever i go. he's genuinely the most amazing, well written, realistic character i've ever come across and no one will really understand what he means to me. I'm kinda selective with who i share with due to how much Jongwoo actually means to me, so if you're sb/hbed IM SO SORRY i just felt a little uncomfortable.

I really dont even know where to begin when talking about Jongwoo, i love how everyone acts as if jongwoo is this super duper evil character!!! LIKE FUCK OFF in reality he was literally being psychologically waterboarded every living breathing millisecond of his life in that building like??? HELLO?? he was being tormented nonstop, deprived of sleep, manipulated, gaslighted, stalked, of course he started unravelling HE HELD HIMSELF TOGETHER LONGER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN WOULD. the way he tried SO HARD to stay normal and polite even when every resident at eden was treating him like a chew toy and very openly a complete freak. he never wnated to fight, he never wanted to cause problems HE JUST WANTED SOMEWHERE TO LIVE and sleep and ust survive. the amoutn of restraint he showed is actually insane when you consider how terrified he was of them. hes so unbelievebly brave and he's such a role model to me for how i need to stay calm and collected even when everyone is scary and annoying. people forget that before everything went downhill he was constantly reaching out to others too, trying to understand them and be civil, trying to believe in the best of everryone because thats who he is. he gave people chances even when they OBVIOUSLY never deserved them in the first place. he TRIED to communicate his discomfort, he TRIED to distance himself, he TRIED to stay rational and nobody even listened. cus no one ever does. you'll reach out, you'll show how much youre suffering and how much life is weighing on you and they just dont listen, and when it's too late they wondered where it all went wrong. nobody ever listens to people who reach out, and nobody notices if you dont reach out. people care SOOOO much about their own lives they fail to recognize people around them exist too. i hate how people act as if he was always a monster as if they didnt watch him get isolated and tortured into insanity like he wasnt always bad, he was broken by the environment he was forced into. he didnt lose his humanity it was literally ripped off him piece by piece AND TALKING ABOUT PIECE. LETS TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH HE UST GENUINELY WANTED PEACE AND QUIET he wasn't even that ambitious, all he wanted was a quiet cheap place to live and have a normal job. HE JUST WANTED TO WRITEEE i dont care what people say he's gentle. he would have never wanted this to happen because he's a good person broken by the people around him. AND THE WORST PART IS if literally ANYONE had stepped in earlier, if anyone had believed him, helped him out of there, he would have been FINE. over time, he would have recovered. he was failed by the people around him because they didnt CARE. idgaf what anyone says his gf did not care about him as much as she cared for her. like, he didnt turn into a killer because thats who he always was or thats what was in him, he turned into a killer because that building reshaped him, he's just another product of it's cruelty. I DONT CARE IF YOU THINK IM MISCHARACTERIZING HIM #IDC #IDC #IDC THIS IS HOW I PERCIEVE HIM.
